About the Role

Wipro Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Lead Administrator to join our dynamic Technology Services team, specializing in Cisco routing and switching at Levels L3 and L4. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple major Indian cities including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, and Coimbatore, within a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

The successful candidate will lead complex network operations encompassing configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance across data centers, LAN, and WAN environments. The scope extends to managing and optimizing wireless LAN controllers and access points, leveraging industry-leading OEMs such as Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.

Additionally, this position requires hands-on expertise in deploying SD-WAN solutions, including setup, configuration, and resolving technical challenges with platforms such as Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE, Versa, Velocloud, or Fortinet. The role also encompasses work with advanced network security systems (e.g., F5-LTM/GTM, Palo Alto firewalls) and proficiency in niche technologies like Cisco ACI, NSX, SDN, SDA, and DNAC.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in Cisco routing and switching. Expertise in data center network operations and comprehensive knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures is essential. Familiarity with wireless infrastructure, including configuration and troubleshooting of WLCs and APs, is highly valued.

A deep understanding of SD-WAN deployments and network security platforms like Palo Alto and F5 is important. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with niche networking technologies and tools, indicating a strong commitment to continuous technical mastery.

Required Certifications:

  • CCNP Enterprise
  • HPE Aruba Networking Certification

Additional Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Cisco Nexus administration is advantageous.
