Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client’s software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA’s ensuring client satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for OpenShift Virtualization using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads.
  • Participate in infrastructure and platform migration projects (legacy virtualization or on‑prem to OpenShift).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize OpenShift infrastructure for performance and reliability.
  • Develop reusable IaC modules and Ansible playbooks for standardized deployments.
  • Integrate OpenShift infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
  • Ensure security and governance compliance across all IaC implementations.
  • Document infrastructure designs, migration approaches, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with OpenShift infrastructure, OpenShift Virtualization, and Kubernetes.
  • 3+ years experience with Terraform and Ansible (IaC).
  • Automation scripting using Bash and/or Python.
  • CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitLab, or ArgoCD.
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization.
  • Security and governance best practices for containerized platforms.

Desirable / Preferred Skills

  • Prior involvement in infrastructure or OpenShift migration projects.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
