Job Description

As a Product Manager within Wipro Technologies, you will serve as a vital conduit between our customers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring that the products delivered meet and exceed market demands with a customer-centric approach. Your daily activities will encompass:

  • Customer Centricity: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations by continuously engaging with clients and market developments, embedding empathy into product strategy and execution.
  • Technical Systems Analysis & Design: Gain comprehensive insight into the product platforms and surrounding ecosystems, prepare articulate technical documentation such as data flows, sequence diagrams, API specifications, and interface design to guide engineering teams effectively.
  • Backlog & Roadmap Management: Craft and maintain a prioritized product backlog with clear features and stories that align with the strategic roadmap, enabling smooth delivery of business objectives through agile methodologies.
  • Story Elaboration & Acceptance Criteria Definition: Lead collaborative efforts to break down epics into actionable, testable user stories enriched with detailed and measurable acceptance criteria that provide clarity and quality assurance.
  • Technical Advisory: Conduct thorough technical analysis to ensure alignment of software application capabilities with business and functional requirements, facilitating risk mitigation and solution viability.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders globally, ensuring priorities reflect business value, measurable outcomes, and strategic goals, while harmonizing perspectives and resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Agile Mindset Advocate: Champion agile principles throughout the product lifecycle—from defining epics to sprint planning and review—cultivating an environment of iterative learning and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define SMART metrics that track both leading and lagging indicators of product success, analyzing these insights to refine processes, accelerate delivery, and enhance product quality.

We seek individuals with substantial experience in product management or new product development, particularly those who have successfully shipped high-quality, technically complex products such as platforms or API services. The ideal candidate embodies technical acumen, an agile mindset, and exceptional communication skills, thriving in collaborative, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.

Your expertise should include proficiency in lean product management, deep understanding of software system architecture, and agile delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban. Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD) and modern DevOps practices is essential.

Knowledge in cryptographic protocols and key management is highly desirable, enabling you to contribute to next-generation secure payment and card solutions.

Solution Delivery Coordination & Quality Assurance

Engage actively with delivery teams to ensure that proposed solutions completely address customer requirements through the following actions:

  • Conduct regular review sessions with delivery teams, communicating customer feedback and requirements clearly to align expectations and solution direction.
  • Oversee validation of test cases to guarantee comprehensive coverage of all functional requirements and business scenarios, ensuring robust quality assurance.
  • Lead root cause analyses for proposed solutions, demos, and prototypes prior to customer presentation, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate deployment and manage change requests promptly to incorporate evolving customer needs and enhance solution fit.
  • Collaborate with QA teams during periodic testing phases to provide timely inputs and feedback, ensuring solutions meet or exceed business demands.
  • Drive integration testing and conduct comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demos, achieving complete validation and stakeholder approval.
  • Utilize data modeling and analytical techniques to assess outcomes, recommend enhancements, and support continuous solution refinement.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of system capabilities by analyzing business specifications thoroughly and stitching end-to-end responses to RFPs and RFIs before customer delivery.

Support project managers and delivery teams in:

  • Defining detailed project milestones, phases, and deliverable components in coordination with principal consultants, fostering structured and transparent execution plans.
  • Critically challenging assumptions and plans proposed by delivery teams to assure feasibility, resource optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs aligned with contractual and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities - Customer Engagement & Requirements Gathering

  • Collaborate closely with client engagement partners to meticulously capture and understand detailed requirements from RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information), ensuring alignment with customer business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive scope documents delineating functional and non-functional requirements, core features, and underlying business needs, including implicit expectations, to provide clarity and direction for solution development.
  • Design and produce detailed workflow charts, data flow diagrams, and system interaction models that encapsulate system capabilities and user journeys. Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform precise and actionable specifications.
  • Engage with internal multidisciplinary teams—project managers, pre-sales consultants, technical leads, and architects—to collaboratively craft timely, accurate responses to customer bids and information requests.
  • Evaluate and communicate the financial, operational, and strategic implications of proposed solution changes, ensuring stakeholders maintain a clear understanding of impacts.
  • Maintain an ongoing dialogue with customers, organizing regular review sessions and feedback loops to refine solutions in accordance with evolving customer needs and market trends.
  • Conduct compelling demonstrations and presentations of solutions and prototypes, empowering customers with clear insights into proposed capabilities and expected outcomes.
  • Foster and nurture long-term client relationships, facilitating business integration opportunities and supporting continuous lead generation through value-added engagements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proactively soliciting and analyzing customer feedback, translating insights into actionable enhancements in service and product offerings.

  • Regularly collaborate with fellow Business Analysts and domain experts to exchange insights, experiences, and best practices, thereby enriching collective knowledge within the vertical.
  • Author and contribute thought leadership materials such as whitepapers, research articles, and point-of-view documents.
  • Identify innovative use cases and potential project opportunities across accounts, contributing to business enhancement initiatives at the enterprise level.
