Job Description: 

SAP ISU Technical

Shift time-5 a.m to 2.30 p.m IST

Key Responsibilities:
•  Design, develop, and support SAP IS U technical objects including ABAP reports, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, forms, and interfaces
•  Support IS U modules such as Device Management (DM), Billing & Invoicing, FICA, Customer Master, and Meter Reading
Develop and support interfaces between SAP IS U and external systems (MDM, CRM, third party billing systems) using IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, and Web Services
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes in line with AMS SLAs
•  Support IS U & SAP CRM integration, including replication of Business Partner, Contract Account, and Technical Master Data
Perform performance tuning, code optimization, and ensure compliance with SAP best practices
•  Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and onsite teams to deliver stable and compliant solutions
•  Support audits, regulatory changes, and release deployments as part of utility compliance requirements

Essential Skills
6–10 years overall SAP ABAP experience
Prior experience in Utilities domain is desireable
•  Strong hands on experience in ABAP for SAP IS U
Experience with IS U technical frameworks (Events, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements)
•  Knowledge of IS U Master Data (Business Partner, Contract Account, Connection Object, Device, Installation)
•  Experience with SAP IS U & SAP CRM integration and middleware concepts (IDocs, BDOCs, Queues)
•  Exposure to S/4HANA IS U, CDS views, AMDP, and performance optimized ABAP is an advantage
•  Familiarity with utility business processes and meter to cash lifecycle

 Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•  Good communication skills for coordination with onsite and client stakeholders
•  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a support environment
