Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Experience- 9+ years

 

  • Design, build, testing framework for applications within TRAMAS ecosystem
    Translate customer (Telstra internal) needs and requirements, to onboard them to the TRAMAS platform.
  • Work with Product Owner, DEV team & Design team to collaborate standard based API exposure, testing the implementation and understanding the architecture.
  • Ability to lead the QA team, prioritise backlog of work, track them for completion.
  • Ensure regression suite is updated with new features and zero touch execution.
    Contribute to the ever growing test automation framework.
  • Set up and maintain CICD automated test pipelines across environments.
  • Utilising Agile ceremonies and practices, lead planning, design and estimation sessions.
  • Periodically assess the stability of the test framework and decide if there is a better one that can be adopted.
  • Participate in a DevOps, BizDevOps and DevSecOps environment and team.
  • Provide level 3 support for escalated and critical issues and incidents.

         Essential Skills:

  • Managing the testing delivery and leading the team with ability to be hands on if required
  • Experience leading end to end testing with multiple parties
  • Hands-on experience with Agile Tools (Jira, Confluence) 
  • Hands-on experience with API testing: JavaScript,Cypress or any equivalent frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with front end testing: Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks: Mocha, Chai
  • Hands on experience with relational and document based databases such as:
  • MongoDb, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, SQL Server
  • Experience with containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Hands on experience in troubleshooting application/infrastructure issues
  • Hands on experience using logging tools like Splunk & New Relic
  • Excellent documentation skills and the willingness to adopt to any tooling that aids continuous documentation.Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Bamboo, BitBucket, GitLab etc.Optional Skills:
  • Experience working with Camunda.
  • Understanding of RESTful API & asynchronous pattern
  • Willing to perform other tasks like Development/Design/DEVOPS/BizDEvOPs if the opportunity arises.

  • Ability to articulate well and contribute to discussions.
  • Ability to view change as opportunity rather than a threat.
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new technology. 
  • Team players and who see the sharing of ideas as win-win situation.
