Test Automation Engineer (AI-Augmented Quality Engineering) - Required Skills

 

 

 

Strong hands-on experience in test automation engineering with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.

 

Proven experience with Java Selenium WebDriver and modern UI automation frameworks for web application testing.

 

Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, UI, API, and microservices testing methodologies.

 

Experience developing automated test solutions using Java or Python and associated testing frameworks.

 

Hands-on experience with BDD/TDD practices using industry-standard frameworks and libraries such as Cucumber, Behave, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.

 

Experience authoring, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, test plans, test data, and reusable test suites.

 

Experience automating API testing and validating distributed microservices architectures.

 

Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support continuous quality engineering.

 

Experience testing applications deployed on Azure, Kubernetes, AKS, and cloud-native environments.

 

Good to Have (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

 

Strong experience using Squash Test Management (or equivalent test management platforms) for test planning, execution, traceability, and reporting.

 

Experience with performance, load, resilience, and scalability testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

 

Exposure to AI Agent testing, LLM evaluation frameworks, prompt validation, Agentic AI quality engineering, and Responsible AI testing practices.

 

Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, or modern test automation platforms.

 

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Compliance, or Trade Surveillance domains.
