Role Purpose
In this role, you will:
Administration of the Atlassian products Jira, Confluence, JSM and apps/plugins.
Upgrade the Jira, Confluence, JSM and apps/plugins.
Migration of Jira/Confluence and apps/plugins from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud
Help Jira and Confluence users for project customizations, issues and queries.
Identify and suggest the areas of improvements to improve user experience. Automate the manual tasks.
Pro-actively investigate improvements in service observability i.e. monitoring and alerting.
Work on the production incidents and collaborate with required teams to investigate and fix the issues.
Share learnings, findings from production incidents with wider team along with actions avoid the same issues in future as part of the PIR.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Hands on experience in administrating Jira, Confluence, JSM and apps/plugins
Hands on experience upgrading Jira, Confluence, JSM and apps/plugins.
Experience in migrating the Jira/Confluence and apps from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud
Hands on experience in Jira projects customizations.
Experience in writing groovy, python/shell scripts, REST API’s.
Working experience in Linux environments and knowledge required on Oracle/Postgre Sql database
Knowledge on monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus and Performance tuning of the applications
Strong incident/problem troubleshooting skills and communication skills.
Added advantage of having knowledge of Java, Ansible, Github, Nexus.

Do
- Is accountable for meeting Sprint objectives along with scrum team
- Ensure meeting of sprint commitment
- Own and help resolve impediments of the team
- Help PO adopt Scrum Process properly and ensure PO availability
- Support the PO in maintaining the Product Backlog, defining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Facilitate estimation, backlog refinement and all planning ceremonies
- Ensure that DOR, DOD, Acceptance criteria is available and adhered to
- Ensure MoSCoW adherence of Sprint Backlog at the Sprint level
- Accountable for the correct implementation of the Agile Process
- Protect the team from external interference.
- Facilitate technical assistance to the team and enables clear communication amongst the team members
- Participate in Scrum of Scrum across teams and highlights impediments
- Provide feedback on the team members performance to the Agile Line manager and Agile Program Leader
- Facilitate all the Scrum Ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standup, Grooming, Demo, restrospection) and ensure correct adoption

- Ensure updating of all Scrum artifacts
- Ensure ALM tool (either client or Wipro) is updated on a daily basis
- Update key Scrum metrics into Wipro internal tool on a Sprint-by-Sprint basis
- Analyse key Scrum metrics and take corrective actions
- Create competency improvement and cross-skilling plan for the team (by the start of the project). Review monthly and ensure improvement in competency score. Ensure multiskilling for at least 50% of the team.
- Help team attain stable velocity within 6-8 sprints (allowing for 10% variation either way)
- Train team on the proper adoption of Agile processes (Scrum / XP / Kanban)
- Help in adoption of engineering practices like ATDD, TDD, CI, CD, Refactoring
- Record and own the restrospection actions
- Participate in community of practice initiatives
- Provide inputs to the Line manager for internal quality forums (QIC / APR / QBR / MBR etc.)
