Job Description

Required Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on experience in a data center, technical lab, server room, infrastructure-support, or field-services environment.
  • Experience installing, moving, cabling, troubleshooting, or decommissioning rack-mounted equipment.
  • Working knowledge of server hardware, storage equipment, network devices, power distribution, and structured cabling.
  • Experience using ServiceNow, CMDB, asset-management, inventory, or ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, switching, device-management interfaces, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read rack elevations, cable maps, device lists, technical instructions, and deployment documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate asset and configuration data.
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage assigned work independently, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work safely in an active lab or data center environment.

Mandatory Skills: Datacenter - Wintel Stack .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $25,000 to $50,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
