Role : Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end users. The role involves installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate should have a problem-solving attitude, the ability to deliver clear technical instructions, and be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques.

This position is critical to ensuring prompt and accurate customer service and enhancing client satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Address user tickets related to hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Guide users through installation of applications and computer peripherals
  • Diagnose problems by asking targeted questions
  • Provide step-by-step instructions to users
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions
  • Explore alternative solutions to resolve issues
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user requirements
  • Log technical issues and resolutions
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support
  • Follow up with users to ensure system functionality
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests
  • Assist in creating technical documentation and manuals

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments including imaging, software installation, and configuration
  • Familiarity with office automation tools and peripherals (Wi-Fi, printers, scanners)
  • Understanding of network security practices and antivirus programs
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Mandatory Skills: Desktop Support .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $33,000 to $76,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
