Job Description: 

Senior Azure Service Engineer

Overview: Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Azure Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and user support. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of high-performance compute (HPC) clusters for running workloads and simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer Helpdesk and user support to resolve technical issues and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure Cyclecloud and Terraform.
  • Diagnose problems and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of systems.
  • Provide Linux system administration and support, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy Azure solutions.

Preferred Qualification

Minimum Qulaifications:

  • Proficiency in Azure Cyclecloud and Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Excellent Helpdesk and user support skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and debug issues effectively.
  • Experience in HPC cluster management.
  • Knowledge of Azure administration and cloud computing concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills, including experience with various distributions and command-line tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Mandatory Skills: Windows Platform Engineering Full Stack .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $110,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
