This position, reporting to the Technology Services group within the TS - Industry Cloud & Digital service line, focuses on leveraging advanced network engineering and automation skills to optimize and maintain robust network infrastructure supporting our cloud computing initiatives.

As a senior-level Network Engineer (L4), you will be instrumental in implementing, managing, and automating network operations that ensure seamless connectivity, security, and operational efficiency. ͏Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end DNS and DHCP provisioning processes ensuring accurate configuration and trouble-free operations. Oversee IP Address Management (IPAM) using Men & Mice tools to allocate and monitor IP blocks effectively.
• Execute VLAN configuration changes, update Access Control Lists (ACLs), and modify load balancer settings to optimize network performance and security.
• Coordinate and support the deployment of new network devices as well as the decommissioning of old hardware, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to compliance standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders to respond promptly to network-related information requests and service inquiries, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
• Drive automation initiatives by developing robust scripts and tools utilizing Python and PowerShell, integrating RESTful APIs, and employing infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform and Ansible. These efforts will significantly reduce manual workload and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing, compliance adherence, and streamlined troubleshooting during incidents or outages.
• Engage in continuous monitoring and proactive troubleshooting to prevent network disruptions, applying a problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach to resolve complex issues.

͏Qualifications:

• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of core networking protocols and concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, and load balancing techniques, enabling confident handling of complex network configurations and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience working with IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions, particularly Men & Mice, alongside proficiency with common network hardware and device management.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python and/or PowerShell with a solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and Git-based source control workflows to support automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Capability to plan and perform controlled network changes following best practices to minimize risks, coupled with the drive to identify and implement automation opportunities that enhance network reliability and scalability.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on technical and operational matters.
