Role Summary
We are looking for a System Engineer L3 with strong software and systems engineering fundamentals to build, operate, and support reliable, scalable platforms that enable ML and AI workloads in production. This role focuses on system stability, automation, deployment, and operational excellence, ensuring that solutions meet engineering, security, and compliance standards within the team’s ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
• Design, build, and support production systems with clean architecture, automation, and strong operational controls.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and environment configurations.
• Ensure system reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tuning.
• Partner with applied science and engineering teams to support ML and AI workloads in production environments.
• Troubleshoot system, infrastructure, and deployment issues across development and production environments.
• Apply security, compliance, and cost-optimization best practices for cloud-based services and platforms.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in systems or software engineering roles supporting production services.
• Strong experience with Python and at least one additional programming or scripting language.
• Solid understanding of system design, deployment automation, and operational support.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure (Azure ML, AKS, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, incident response, and on-call support models.
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to ML or AI systems in production environments.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and Kubernetes-based services.
• Familiarity with ML tooling, model lifecycle concepts, or data pipelines is a plus.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
