Long Description

Fusion 360 CAD Modeler

Location: Redmond, WA

Role Summary

We are seeking a Fusion 360 CAD Modeler to turn early test concepts into production‑ready test fixtures and scalable test systems. This role works closely with engineering leads and test owners to refine requirements, evaluate design options, and deliver manufacturable, cost‑effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate high‑level test concepts into clear, buildable design requirements
  • Design and model test fixtures using Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Present design options and trade‑offs (cost, complexity, durability, scalability)
  • Create BOMs, cost estimates, and support build decisions
  • Assemble and iterate on prototype and production fixtures
  • Support scaling fixtures from prototype to multi‑station environments
  • Collaborate with test, validation, and lab teams through design reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Strong mechanical design and manufacturability fundamentals
  • Experience creating BOMs and cost estimates
  • Practical experience assembling fixtures or test equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Test fixture or lab automation design experience
  • Experience scaling test systems
  • Vendor or machine‑shop collaboration
  • Rapid prototyping experience (3D printing, quick‑turn machining)
Mandatory Skills: Windows Platform Engineering .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
