Test Automation Engineer - Triage

Job Title: Test Automation Engineer - Triage
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)

We are looking for a strong Automation Engineer with hands-on Python skills and DevOps awareness to triage and resolve environment-related issues. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions while diagnosing system and pipeline failures. Knowledge of firmware and hardware is a strong advantage for identifying and troubleshooting hardware-related issues effectively.
Triage and troubleshoot environment, pipeline, and system-related issues using strong Python and DevOps knowledge.
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to improve quality, stability, and efficiency.
Analyze failures across software, infrastructure, and hardware/firmware touchpoints to identify root causes.
Collaborate with DevOps, firmware, and hardware teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.
Optimize test execution, monitoring, and performance through automation and continuous improvement.
Strong hands-on experience with Python for automation, scripting, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of DevOps concepts (CI/CD, build pipelines, environments, logs, monitoring).
Experience in automation testing / quality automation and framework development.
Strong issue triaging and root cause analysis skills across application and environment layers.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of firmware and hardware concepts to identify hardware-related issues.
Mandatory Skills: Product Testing .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
