Job Description
We are seeking experienced professionals with strong instrument reference data expertise to support reference data onboarding, governance, and management. The role requires deep domain understanding combined with data management capabilities to drive high-quality, governed data solutions across Risk, Finance, and Technology functions.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in Capital Markets / Banking domain
- Hands-on exposure to: reference data systems or platforms, data modelling (conceptual/logical/physical), data mapping & transformation, reference data systems or platforms
- Strong hands-on experience in Instrument Reference Data (via Operations or Technology roles)
- Deep understanding of financial instruments and associated attributes (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products)
- Proven knowledge of reference data lifecycle, sourcing, and governance
- Proven knowledge in Financial data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit) , Instrument data standards (ISIN, CUSIP, LEI, etc.) and Regulatory context (e.g., Basel, CCAR, Risk/Finance reporting)
Nice to have:
- Experience in requirements management / business analysis
- Exposure to ETL processes, data integration, and transformation frameworks
- Familiarity with data warehousing / data platforms
- Understanding of data governance tools and frameworks

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements

Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and data requirements

Act as a liaison between business users and development teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements

Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirement grooming sessions

Analyze and define requirements related to instrument reference data including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products

Support the design and enhancement of reference data platforms and systems used across front, middle, and back-office systems

Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of reference data attributes across systems

Contribute to improvements in reference data sourcing, onboarding, and lifecycle management

Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for reference data and financial instruments

Perform detailed data mapping, lineage analysis, and transformation logic definition between source and target systems

Analyze data discrepancies and provide solutions to improve data quality and integrity
