Job Description
The IT Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of IT Technology, Platforms and Operations (TPO) projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, standards, commitments, and goals
Responsibilities
- Lead IT TPO Projects. Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects to meet the company goals and business requirements
- Exercise high level of authority and discretion over day-to-day activities and project operations.
- Develop project scopes to support business strategy, align with Global objectives. Interface, report and work with upper management company stakeholders.
- Lead technical solutions implementations in coordination and aligned with local and Global IT counterparts.
- Manage TPO budget control and administration related to projects.
- Manage procurement processes as necessary.
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, defining the required resources to meet project goals (schedule, budget, equipment, and human capital), risks and contingency plans.
- Coordinate complex technical solutions overcoming challenges resolution in a complex technological and multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong technical background to understand, provide solutions and manage technical concepts. Lead technical project definitions. Ensure optimizations and efficiencies are found within the TPO team to improve work performance.
- Ensure project execution by controlling and monitoring project timeline, budget, scope, risks, and changes.
- Lead and coordinate project team and interface with national and worldwide distributed global business partners.
- Work with multidisciplinary technical teams. Projects vary from Network to Systems to End user projects.
- Identify, develop, and initiate innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist. Lead cross-functional work efforts to solve problems and implement changes.
- Perform project outcomes assessment as established during the planning phase or defined by the company standards.
- Define frameworks for processes and procedures in accordance with company global standards and best practices to ensure consistency in projects execution.
- Proactively consult, communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and business units to analyze information needs and functional requirements ensuring delivery of business value within proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and budget control of IT TPO Projects.
- Strategically review technical and business processes to drive continual improvement (service effectiveness and efficiency)

Experience: 8-10 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
