Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SAP Tester / QA Lead with 8+ years of QA experience and strong hands-on exposure to SAP OTC, SD, Finance, and P2P processes. The candidate should have experience testing SAP business flows connected with upstream eCommerce systems such as Shopify and Salesforce OMS, and should be able to validate both accounting and non-accounting flows across order, fulfillment, invoice, payment, procurement, and reconciliation processes.
The ideal candidate should be able to understand end-to-end business process flows, design detailed test scenarios and test cases, validate SAP integration points, report and retest defects, execute regression testing, support UAT, and provide release readiness inputs for global eCommerce deployments.

SAP Functional Testing: Own QA activities for SAP OTC, SD, Finance, and P2P business flows, including functional validation, integration validation, regression testing, UAT support, and release sign-off inputs.
Upstream Integration Testing: Validate data and process flows from Shopify front end and Salesforce OMS into SAP, including order details, customer data, product information, pricing, taxes, payments, fulfillment status, returns and refund information.
Accounting Flow Testing: Validate accounting-relevant flows such as billing, invoice posting, payment posting, refund posting, tax postings, revenue-related postings, credit/debit memos, financial reconciliation and interface-level accounting impacts.
Non-Accounting Flow Testing: Validate non-accounting business flows such as sales order creation, order status updates, delivery creation, fulfillment updates, inventory-related updates, customer/order references, and operational status synchronization.
OTC / SD Testing: Validate order-to-cash and sales distribution scenarios including sales order creation, pricing, discounts, tax, delivery, billing, invoice, cancellation, return, credit memo and customer account impacts.
Finance Testing: Validate FI-related outcomes including accounting document creation, invoice accounting, payment/refund accounting, tax postings, revenue recognition touchpoints where applicable, and reconciliation reports.
P2P Testing: Validate procurement-related and procure-to-pay flows such as purchase requisition/order touchpoints, goods receipt, invoice receipt, vendor invoice, payment, and integration impacts where applicable.
Test Scenario and Test Case Creation: Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, regression packs, smoke suites, integration checklists, traceability matrices, and production validation scripts.

Test Management and JIRA Usage: Use test management tools such as qTest, Xray, TestRail, Zephyr or Azure DevOps, and manage defects, tasks, traceability, execution status, and reporting in Jira or equivalent tools.
Defect Reporting and Retesting: Log defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, business impact, severity, priority, expected/actual results, then support triage, retesting, closure and regression impact validation.
Regression Testing: Execute and maintain SAP regression suites across critical business flows, integrations, accounting impacts, non-accounting flows, and country/market-specific scenarios.
Release and Hypercare Support: Support UAT, business validation, end-to-end test cycles, deployment checks, production sanity, post-release monitoring and hypercare activities.

8+ years of QA/testing experience with strong SAP functional and integration testing exposure.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP OTC, SD, Finance/FI and P2P/MM-related testing areas.
Good understanding of end-to-end eCommerce-to-SAP process flows involving Shopify, Salesforce OMS, SAP, finance/accounting, procurement and fulfillment-related integrations.
Ability to validate both accounting and non-accounting flows, including invoice, payment, refund, credit memo, delivery, order status and reconciliation scenarios.
Strong knowledge of test scenario design, test case creation, test data preparation, regression suite maintenance and traceability.
Experience using test management tools such as qTest, Xray, TestRail or Zephyr and defect/task tracking in Jira.
Strong defect reporting skills including clear reproduction steps, evidence, severity, priority, expected/actual results and business impact.
Experience in retesting, regression testing, integration testing, UAT support, release validation and production sanity testing.
Ability to coordinate with business users, SAP functional consultants, integration teams, OMS teams, Shopify teams, finance users, procurement users and release teams.
