Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

SAP BODS (Admin) – Job Description

  • Responsible for installation, configuration, and administration of SAP BODS / SAP Data Services environments.
  • Manage DEV, QA, and PROD landscapes, ensuring system stability and availability.
  • Perform BODS upgrades, patches, and repository maintenance.
  • Create and manage local, central, and profiler repositories.
  • Configure and monitor Job Servers and Access Servers.
  • Monitor ETL job executions, performance, and system health.
  • Troubleshoot job failures and perform root cause analysis.
  • Manage user access, roles, and security through CMS.
  • Support data migration, integration, and cutover activities.
  • Work closely with ETL developers, SAP Basis, and DB teams.
  • Handle production support (L2/L3) and incident resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, security, and operational standards.
  • Maintain run-books, SOPs, and operational documentation.
