SAP BTP CAP & Fiori Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP CAP & Fiori Developer to join our team and drive the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), SAP UI5/Fiori, and modern web technologies, along with the ability to collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative SAP cloud solutions, develop scalable applications, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP UI5/Fiori applications.
  • Build and enhance applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Develop Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) applications using Node.js.
  • Create and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) models.
  • Integrate applications using REST APIs and OData services.
  • Customize and extend standard SAP applications to meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
  • Collaborate with global onshore and offshore teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate development activities across distributed teams.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP application development.
  • Strong experience with SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP development.
  • Proven experience building CAP applications on SAP BTP.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with OData and REST-based integrations.
  • Knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS).
  • Experience using SAP Business Application Studio or SAP Web IDE.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
  • Experience with XML, AJAX, jQuery, Content Management Systems, and Portal technologies.
  • Experience supporting multiple browsers and responsive applications.
  • Experience working within global onshore/offshore delivery models.
  • Experience coordinating or leading development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Fiori extensions and custom application development.
  • Familiarity with macOS development environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP services and cloud-native development practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience in enterprise-scale SAP transformation projects.

Nice to Have

  • SAP BTP certifications.
  • Experience with SAP Build solutions.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with multinational teams.
