Job Description

Design and develop integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies, such as SAP PI/PO, and SAP API Management.
•            Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•            Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and testing plans.
•            Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure that integration solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
•            Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
•            Conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations for new integration projects.
•            Collaborate with other teams, such as Basis, security, and database administrators, to ensure that integration solutions are properly implemented and supported.
•            Manage and maintain APIs across the organization, including API design, development, testing, and deployment.
•            Ensure API security, scalability, and reliability, and enforce API governance policies and standards.
•            Monitor API performance and usage and make recommendations for improvements.
•            Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies and recommend improvements to our integration architecture and processes.
•            Collaborate with other teams to ensure that integration solutions are properly integrated with other systems and processes.
•            Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
•            Provide 24/7 production support for critical integration solutions.

 


Required Technical and Professional Expertise


•            Strong experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools and technologies, including SAP PI/PO and SAP API Management.
•            Strong understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite architecture and design principles.
•            Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite development tools, such as SAP Process Integration and programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy Script, and ABAP.
•            Experience with API management and integration architecture.
•            Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
