Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant (ABAP Background Mandatory)
Location- Austin, TX ( Day one Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a strong background in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should have started their SAP career as an ABAP Developer and later transitioned into SAP FICO consulting, bringing a unique blend of technical and functional expertise.
The consultant will be responsible for business requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities across SAP FICO processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to Finance and Controlling processes.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Taxation
- New GL
- Configure and support SAP CO modules including:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- Profitability Analysis (COPA)
- Lead workshops and fit-gap analysis sessions.
- Prepare functional specifications and business process documents.
- Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Provide production support and resolve complex business issues.
Technical Responsibilities
- Leverage prior ABAP development experience to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Review and validate:
- Functional Specifications (FS)
- Technical Specifications (TS)
- RICEFW Objects
- Enhancements
- Interfaces
- Reports
- Forms and Conversions
- Work closely with ABAP teams to design custom developments.
- Perform debugging and root-cause analysis whenever required.
- Support SAP integrations with SD, MM, PP, SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, and third-party applications.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
