Role Overview:

As a Techno Functional Consultant L2 specializing in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), you will play a pivotal role in executing customizations and configuration changes across multiple modules within Wipro Technologies' data management systems. You will be a key contributor in supporting the implementation and enhancement of critical business processes to promote data integrity and operational excellence.

This position demands a blend of technical expertise and functional insight, requiring you to engage with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that align with organizational objectives. Your work will enhance system stability, streamline workflows, and ensure that master data governance protocols are rigorously maintained.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ABAP programming, along with a strong understanding of functional processes related to SAP MM, SD, and PP modules. The Consultant will be responsible for driving solutions that optimize performance and support business users effectively, contributing to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Analyze, design, develop, and support custom SAP MDG developments aimed at fulfilling business requirements, including creation and enhancement of Data Models, UI, and Process Models.
• Develop and enhance IDOCs ensuring seamless integration and data exchange between SAP systems and external partners.
• Translate complex business requirements into efficient technical specifications for ABAP development, encompassing reports, dialog programs, forms, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, functional, and technical issues; document requirements and deliver robust solutions that enhance system functionality.
• Provide daily support to business users, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of evolving business processes and systems to ensure optimal integration and performance.
• Draft detailed Technical Design Documents, oversee solution development, and execute unit testing to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate and perform rigorous functionality testing during application updates and upgrades to confirm system integrity and performance improvements.
• Adhere to established development methodologies and standards set by the Digital department at Wipro, ensuring thorough documentation and maintainability of all system components.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in SAP ABAP development, including expertise in forms, interfaces, conversions, reports, and enhancements.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience converting functional specifications into technical specifications, followed by coding, unit testing, and documentation within custom development projects.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP Reporting, Dialogue Programming, LSMW, BDC, BAPI, Data Dictionary, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, RFCs, and Object-Oriented programming.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with the demonstrated capacity to adapt and thrive in dynamic project environments while managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven track record in optimizing existing ABAP code for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Experience developing ABAP objects related to core SAP modules including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).

Preferred Skills and Additional Expertise

• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementations and development projects, bringing a deep understanding of master data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with SAP Workflow configurations, OData services, and ABAP Proxy development.
• Functional exposure to SAP ECC modules such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), Ariba procurement solutions, and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO).
• Knowledge of Agile project management tools like Confluence and Jira to support collaborative development and issue tracking.
• Formal training or certifications in problem-solving methodologies, enhancing ability to analyze complex challenges and implement effective solutions.
