Job Description: 

Senior Automation Test Engineer – Java Selenium

Exepriance - 5 to 10yrs
Preferred Locations - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai
Band - B2 & B3

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute regression, functional, and integration tests; analyze results and report defects.
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven.
  • Generate detailed test reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in test automation.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing with Selenium and Java.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and test management tools (e.g., ALM).
  • Experience with TestNG,Restassured, Postman, Maven, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, SVN).
  • Strong understanding of software testing life cycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to new technologies and domains.
