Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/ platform/ solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters.

Location           Chennai & Bangalore only

Skill – Selenium Java testing

 

Mandatory Skill           API Testing, Rest assured, Java Coding, BBD Cucumber, Selenium, CICD Pipeline, SQL Query , Linux / Unix knowledge

Tester Role :  Automation Test Engineer (Java to work in Selenium + Manual)

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must to have
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Implement Cucumber BDD/JUnit frameworks for test execution and reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Identify, Analyse, and document defects using bug tracking tools (any test management tool).
  • Perform Manual Testing for critical features .

 

 
  • Strong hands on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD).
  • Understanding of Java (Collections, OOPs, Exception Handling, Handling Json files etc.).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like testing management tool
  • Good in analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and Teamwork abilities.

 

Nice to have
  • Perform testing on Backend applications (Good knowledge on Linux commands).
  • Work with any version control systems
  • Knowledge in Backend Testing, APIs (Postman, Rest Assured)

 

 
  • Knowledge of SQL databases for backend validation.
  • Handson experience with browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
