Senior Business Analyst
Role Purpose
Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of deep experience in Financial Services and a strong finance and accounting background. The role requires partnering with senior stakeholders across business, finance, and technology to drive complex data‑driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English and Spanish) and capable of handling sophisticated requirements analysis, data mapping, and financial data interpretation across product and non‑product domains.
Key Responsibilities͏
- Lead end‑to‑end requirements gathering and analysis for complex financial and data initiatives
- Partner with senior business, finance, and technology stakeholders to define business needs, scope, and priorities
- Develop use cases, functional specifications, and detailed user stories suitable for agile and hybrid delivery models
- Perform data mapping of financial product lifecycles to operational and accounting ledgers
- Analyze and reconcile financial data flows across upstream and downstream systems
- Translate business and accounting concepts into clear technical requirements for development teams
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution during testing and implementation
- Act as a senior advisor, influencing solution design and ensuring alignment with financial controls and reporting standards
Required Skills & Experience͏
- Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
- Strong background in Financial Services, with hands‑on exposure to finance and accounting domains
- Solid understanding of general ledger concepts, financial controls, and operational accounting
- Proven expertise in:
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Use case and user story development
- Data analysis and data mapping
- Experience mapping financial product lifecycles to accounting and operational systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage at senior leadership levels
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory)
- Ability to conduct workshops, write documentation, and communicate complex concepts in both languages
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
