Role Purpose


The purpose of the role is to create exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

Adobe AEM Lead (Technical Lead)

Role Summary

Convert the SDD into executable work, lead the delivery pod (front-end, back-end, QA), and ensure standards, quality, and delivery predictability. Mentor engineers, run reviews, and be the day-to-day technical point of contact for the BA and business.

 

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Technical Leadership

Break down solution design into tasks; define Definition of Done; manage risks and dependencies.

Enforce coding standards, code reviews, and quality gates; maintain velocity without compromising architecture.

Build Oversight

Guide FE on HTL/ES6, style system, accessibility; guide BE on Sling Models/OSGi, CF/XF, workflows, and integrations.

Ensure Analytics/Target hooks and data layer events are implemented consistently.

Prepare dispatcher change requests for infrastructure; validate after deployment.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with BA to clarify requirements; with UX to translate Figma to components; with QA on test strategy.

Coordinate across global teams; support off-hours communication when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12+ years in AEM engineering; strong across front-end and back-end; AEMaaCS and Cloud Manager familiarity.

Demonstrated team leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery in multi-site projects.
