Senior Software Engineer – GenAI, Salesforce & Core Java

Experience:

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Generative AI, Salesforce platform development, and Core Java. The role involves designing and building intelligent, scalable enterprise applications by integrating GenAI capabilities with Salesforce and Java-based backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-driven solutions (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, AI agents) for enterprise use cases.
  • Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL.
  • Develop and maintain Core Java backend services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Integrate GenAI services with Salesforce and Java systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Work on secure data handling, model orchestration, and AI governance within enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with business, architecture, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills

Generative AI

  • Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
  • Hands-on with prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG pipelines, AI agents.
  • Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
  • Understanding of AI security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

Salesforce

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Salesforce configuration: workflows, validation rules, security model.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and AI services.
  • Salesforce certifications are a strong plus.

Core Java

  • Strong fundamentals in Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading.
  • Experience with Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful services.
  • Database experience (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.

Good to Have

  • Experience deploying AI solutions on Azure / AWS / GCP.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or AI-driven CRM use cases.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
  • Prior experience in large-scale enterprise or customer-facing systems.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

 
Mandatory Skills: Generative AI .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
