Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SRE Administrator to join a banking project, responsible for automating infrastructure and operational processes, ensuring system reliability, and supporting scalable environments. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Linux, along with a solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and infrastructure best practices.
 
  • Work location: Warsaw – Client Office
  • Work model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Working hours: 8AM - 4pm CET
  • Contract of Employment

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and CI/CD integrations
  • Build automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and PowerShell to streamline infrastructure and system maintenance
  • Automate routine operational tasks across servers, applications, and network devices
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including modules, state management, and resource provisioning
  • Support monitoring and observability platforms (metrics, logging, tracing)
  • Develop dashboards and fine-tune alerts to improve system visibility and reliability
  • Perform Linux system administration tasks and support containerized environments
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system stability and reduce operational toil
  • Apply SRE best practices to improve availability, performance, and scalability

Key Requirements (Mandatory)

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventories, CI integration)
  • Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
  • Solid Linux system administration skills
  • Experience working in production environments with high availability requirements
  • Fluent English communication skills

 

Nice to Have / Desired Skills

  • Experience with automation tools and advanced Linux administration
  • Familiarity with Go (Golang)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing)
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancers, firewalls, TLS, VPNs)
