Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters

Job Description

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to set up and configure monitoring tools (experience with any two of the following: Prometheus, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, DataDog, Dynatrace, ELK, Harness SRM).
  • Capable of designing and implementing complex alerting rules, optimizing monitoring tool performance, and implementing federation for scalability.
  • Ability to integrate monitoring tools with visualization tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot monitoring tools.
  • Good understanding of observability metrics and KPIs (experience with any one of the following: Grafana, AppDynamics, Splunk, OpenTelemetry).
  • Must be capable of creating complex observability dashboards by integrating various data sources.
  • Ability to troubleshoot observability tools.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting application issues (experience with any one of the following: Java, .NET, Python).
  • Ability to write and debug automation scripts and integrate third-party libraries (experience with any two of the following: Python, Shell, Linux, Unix, Groovy, Java, PowerShell, Golang).
  • Ability to set up and manage Kubernetes clusters, deploy applications, and troubleshoot cluster issues (experience with Kubernetes/Helm charts).
  • Ability to write and debug complex infrastructure configurations and integrate with CI/CD pipelines (experience with any one of the following: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, GitHub, OpenShift, OpenTofu).

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Working experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.
  • Ability to perform rapid troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Willingness to work in shifts as required.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM principles.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
