Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Key Skills :

 

  • Strong SQL Skills: Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and working with relational databases.
  • Visual Studio for Database Solutions: Comfort with Visual Studio solutions, including Database Projects for managing database objects, an integrated development workflow, and understanding/modifying C# service layer code.
  • SSIS Experience: Experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting SSIS packages, with a basic understanding being acceptable as training can be provided for minor enhancements.
  • Integrated Understanding: The role requires an understanding of how database changes managed in Visual Studio connect to the C# application service layer, reflecting a common enterprise environment where database and application code are tightly integrated

Must have:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries)
  • Proficient in writing, reviewing, and testing stored procedures
  • Expertise in debugging complex SQL logic and store procedures
  • Experience in data validation and QA
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with ETL testing and data warehouse environments
  • Understanding of cloud-based database like Snowflake)
