Responsibilities:
- Maintain a proactive approach throughout the day, with the ability to analyze, debug, and resolve issues
- Develop and enhance the SRE strategy to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the plant
- Efficiently escalate issues to the development team, raise incidents, manage impact, and communicate with users and stakeholders.
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
- Escalate issues to management on both support and development sides, raise problem tickets, and collaborate with development teams to address issues and drive transformations.
- Possess a solid understanding of technical concepts and be capable of writing code when necessary.
- Create documentation, runbooks, and code snippets to resolve issues and share them with the team.

Mandatory Skills:

Key criteria: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent) and 3+ years of software development experience

Must be comfortable coding in Java or similar programming language, debugging, writing quality-of-life snippets, writing scripts for debugging and updates and familiarity with Linux bash scripting

Must be a clear, empathetic communicator

Must be willing to execute support issues while also building out the function and automating repeat issues

The ability to identify corner cases, add validations will help us understand problem solving ability. Knowledge of standard support ticketing, prioritization and SDLC processes and tools Gitlab, incident management, JIRA etc

30-40% effort would be in enhancement/automation/small fixes.
