Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce projects using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
Collaborate with Salesforce developers and release managers to streamline the development and deployment lifecycle.
Maintain and enhance source control strategies (branching, merging, code reviews) using GitHub or GitLab.
Manage and configure build and deployment environments using best practices and automation.
Create and maintain scripts and templates for automated build/test/deploy processes.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively address infrastructure and deployment issues.
Troubleshoot deployment failures, environment issues, and pipeline breakdowns.
Drive DevOps culture by mentoring development teams on automation and best practices.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements across environments.
Assist in managing and improving VS Code-based development environments integrated with Salesforce DX.
Support Salesforce DX CLI and metadata deployments, as well as sandboxes and scratch org lifecycle automation.
Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, and operations teams to enhance agility and velocity
Required Skills and Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably with Salesforce projects.
Deep understanding of Git workflows and experience with GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms.
Strong expertise in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar automation tools.
Experience working with Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, metadata API, and change sets.
Familiarity with VS Code and Salesforce extensions for development and debugging.
Hands-on scripting experience (e.g., Shell, Bash, Python, Groovy).
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence.
Familiar with containerization concepts (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, II, or DevOps Center experience).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) related to DevOps environments.
Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools like Gearset, Copado, or AutoRabit is a plus.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
