Job Title: Program Manager

Role Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and governing multiple

interrelated projects to achieve strategic business objectives. This role ensures alignment

across stakeholders, manages dependencies, mitigates risks, and delivers outcomes on

time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs spanning multiple projects and

teams

Define program vision, roadmap, milestones, and success metrics aligned to

business goals

Manage inter-project dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations proactively

Drive stakeholder communication across leadership, customers, and delivery

teams

Govern program execution through strong planning, tracking, and reporting

mechanisms

Ensure adherence to delivery, quality, compliance, and financial governance

standards
Coordinate with Product, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and external

partners

Lead program reviews, steering committee updates, and executive dashboards

Enable change management, adoption, and value realization for delivered initiatives

Mentor project managers and foster delivery excellence across the program

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong program and portfolio management expertise

Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and large cross-functional teams
Internal - General Use

Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Experience with Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models

High ownership mindset with a results-driven approach

Technical / Domain Skills (Preferred)

Experience managing technology programs (Data, AI/ML, Cloud, ERP, Digital

Platforms)

Familiarity with enterprise architecture and system integration concepts

Exposure to tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Power BI, Confluence

Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and release management practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

10+ years of overall experience with 4–6+ years in Program Management roles

PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred
Mandatory Skills: Agentic AI .

 

Experience: >10 YEARS .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $185,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
