Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead the VLSI development and design of the system by defining the various functionalities, architecture, layout and implementation for a client

Power Profiling

  • Lead the bring-up of new hardware platforms including HAWK 2.0, XR2+ Gen2 XDP, XR2 Gen3 XDP, Gretsky (Puck), Vista, Betty, Harriet, Audrey, Alba, and ULSG (jackjack).
  • Power profile algorithms on various mobile phones (e.g., Pixel and other Android devices) to understand power consumption in different scenarios.
  • Benchmark algorithms on different NPU cores, and enable the scheduler to test concurrent algorithm execution.
  • Analyze and characterize the power and performance of both wired and wireless split-compute architectures.
  • Collaborate with the remote camera team to support demos of split perception and conduct PnP (plug-and-play) profiling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues to ensure systems are fully functional.

Tool & Script Development

  • Develop and maintain automated power characterization test scripts for AR/XR use cases.
  • Create scripts to sweep benchmarks for CPU, GPU, HTP (Hardware Tensor Processor), and memory performance.
  • Deliver robust and well-documented scripts for multiple target platforms, including HAWK 2.0, XR2+ Gen2 XDP, and other listed devices.

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
