Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership to engineering teams, define architecture and best practices, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with product, business, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Define coding standards, development best practices, and engineering guidelines.
  • Review solution designs and ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Drive technical decision-making and technology selection.

Software Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications and services.
  • Participate in hands-on coding for critical components and complex features.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

  • Mentor and coach developers to improve technical skills and career growth.
  • Lead sprint planning, technical discussions, and design reviews.
  • Guide team members in adopting engineering best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and customers to understand requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and implementation plans.
  • Provide regular project updates and communicate technical risks to stakeholders.

Delivery & Execution

  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones with high quality.
  • Participate in effort estimation, release planning, and resource planning.
  • Support CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated testing initiatives.
  • Drive performance optimization, security compliance, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of databases, system design, and software architecture.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with AI/ML, data engineering, or modern cloud architectures.
  • Relevant technical certifications.
Mandatory Skills: Telecom Switching Routing NE Layer2 SW .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
