Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensure HW rack and stack process is performed and ensure decommissioning HW from racks when requested.
  • Ensure issues are tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner in Turnover report.
  • Document, troubleshoot, and route incident tickets
  • Track incident tickets to resolution
  • Monitor facility systems and production processing and performance.
  • Tracks, monitors, and reports progress of production processing
  • Communicate issues and resolutions with an awareness of their impact to customers
  • Respond to system alerts and failures
  • Monitor production requests and execute requests for input and take appropriate action
  • Assist technical services in problem resolution
  • Track incident tickets to resolution
  • Develop documentation and procedures
  • Work with outside vendors to provide data center access for hardware service/repair, environmental functions, etc

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least three years of combined experience in Information Technology and/or Technical Education related to IT       

 Skills and experience:

  • Hardware Rack and Stack installs and decommissioning
  • knowledge of: Windows and/or Linux OS, Microsoft Office compatible applications.
  • Working knowledge of problem reporting software Moogsoft preferred), paging and ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred), backup software (Rubrik preferred).

Mandatory Skills: Datacenter - Wintel Stack .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $33,000 to $76,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
