Job Description

 

Contractors will provide a 24x7 follow the sun model to support OCI’s Regional Network Deployment and Scaling (RNDS) organization by:

 

      1. Deploying greenfield network infrastructure and enabling connectivity for new OCI regions and child sites.
      2. Supporting brownfield scaling including CFAB rack adds, compute expansions, server rack adds, and decommissions.
      3. Building and managing data center fabrics, edge, backbone, and metro fiber networks.
      4. Executing region builds, DRCC/Alloy expansions, multi-cloud integrations, and Butterfly turn-ups.
      5. Operating in a CI/CD pipeline environment using GitHub and OCI’s internal tools for automated deployments.
      6. Developing scripts and automation (Python preferred) to reduce manual deployment effort.
      7. Leveraging networking expertise across BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, VPN, SSL, and working with Arista, Cisco and other network hardware.
      8. Execution of Jira ticket assignments that relate to Network infrastructure RNS projects.
      9. Attendance and coordination of team and project meetings. 
      10. Adherence to Oracle’s security and safety best practices.
      11. Weekend support is required, and on-call support may be required.
Mandatory Skills: Network Data Admin .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
