SLT Inventory Control Technician

Join Wipro Technologies-USA as a dedicated SLT Inventory Control Technician, playing a critical role within our VLSI Engineering team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the seamless operation and efficiency of our state-of-the-art lab environments, ensuring precision and reliability in inventory management for cutting-edge semiconductor testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently receive, log, and accurately label all incoming laboratory materials, including hardware components, supplies, and specialized chips. Ensure these items are stored in designated zones according to standardized protocols.
  • Maintain precise and current inventory records within the lab management information system, enabling real-time tracking and transparency.
  • Monitor inventory levels proactively to forecast demand and initiate timely reordering, preventing shortages that could disrupt lab operations.
  • Implement systematic organization of all storage facilities to promote easy access, thorough labeling, and compliance with established safety regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with laboratory personnel to respond efficiently to supply requests, supporting uninterrupted workflow and project timelines.
  • Play an active role in audit preparations by ensuring all materials are properly documented, labeled, and organized according to compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to refine and streamline inventory control processes, aiming to minimize waste, reduce loss, and optimize available storage space.
  • Support the overall cleanliness and safety of the laboratory environment, adhering strictly to operational and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and schedule routine calibration and maintenance activities for laboratory devices and equipment, preserving operational integrity.

This role demands a proactive mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to maintain the integrity of inventory systems critical to advanced VLSI board design projects. You will be integral to sustaining the lab’s efficiency, supporting technological innovation at Wipro Engineering.

Benefits and Compensation: The expected compensation for this role ranges from $37,500 to $83,600, commensurate with experience and geographic location. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $37,500 to $83,600 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
