Job Description: 

Technical Project Manager (TPM) – Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Failure Analysis

Role Purpose

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will serve as the central coordinator for Failure Analysis (FA) activities within the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) organization. This role acts as the primary interface between internal engineering teams, Supplier Quality, Silicon Failure Analysis (SiFA) teams, customers, and external FA laboratories.

Key Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end Failure Analysis intake, prioritization, tracking, and reporting activities.
· Coordinate FA investigations across SQE, Engineering, Test, SiFA, customers, and external laboratories.
· Manage sample logistics including receipt, tracking, dispatch, chain-of-custody, and third-party lab engagement.
· Develop and maintain schedules, dashboards, status reports, and action-item trackers to ensure execution visibility.
· Drive stakeholder communication, issue escalation, and closure of FA deliverables.
· Improve operational processes, reporting mechanisms, and workflow efficiency across the FA ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical discipline.
· 3+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering, Failure Analysis, or related technical functions.
· Experience working within semiconductor, hardware, electronics manufacturing, validation, or quality engineering environments.
· Strong project planning, execution tracking, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience with project and issue-tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting Semiconductor Failure Analysis (FA) or Supplier Quality organizations.
· Understanding of silicon, package, board-level, or system-level failure analysis workflows.
· Familiarity with FA techniques such as X-ray, SEM/FIB, decapsulation, electrical characterization, and physical analysis.
· Experience coordinating external laboratories, suppliers, vendors, or contract manufacturers.
· Experience supporting customer escalations and high-priority engineering investigations involving external customers and strategic partners.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $140,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
