Senior SAP MM Consultant - Retail Logistics

About the Role

Wipro is looking for an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in Retail Logistics and Supply Chain processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting large-scale retail operations, inventory management, inbound logistics, and store fulfillment processes.

This position will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Retail Logistics solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and global teams to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and support Retail Logistics business processes within SAP.
  • Configure and enhance SAP MM solutions to support retail supply chain operations.
  • Support Inbound Distribution Logistics (IDL), Inventory Management, and Store Operations processes.
  • Participate in end-to-end order fulfillment initiatives across retail environments.
  • Collaborate with business users to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support integrations between logistics, inventory, warehouse, and store systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
  • Drive issue resolution, process optimization, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a global delivery environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of SAP Functional consulting experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management).
  • Experience in Retail Logistics environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of:
    • Inbound Distribution Logistics (IDL)
    • Inventory Management
    • Store Operations
    • In-Store Pickup (APU)
    • Ship From Store (SFS)
  • Experience supporting end-to-end supply chain and fulfillment processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP SD.
  • Previous experience in large global retail organizations.
  • Previous Apple project experience.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience.
  • Experience with AI-powered business solutions or automation tools.
  • Exposure to digital transformation programs within retail organizations.

Preferred Profile

We are particularly interested in professionals with deep Materials Management expertise and strong experience supporting retail logistics, supply chain operations, inventory flows, and store fulfillment processes in enterprise SAP environments.
