Ready to make a direct impact on one of Microsoft’s most business-critical marketing workstreams? Join a fast moving team supporting the Global Customer Advocacy Program within the Engines & Experiences org, where your expertise will help shape the future of Security recruitment and customer storytelling at scale.

We’re seeking a highly skilled, action-oriented Security Recruitment (Engagement) Specialist to drive customer recruitment efforts for Microsoft’s Security business. This is a high-visibility, high-priority role requiring agility, stakeholder savvy, and the ability to deliver results with urgency and precision. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders across Security, Marketing, and Customer Advocacy, building and executing customer recruitment strategies that directly support Microsoft’s business goals.

͏

Would you like to...

  • Own the Security recruitment workstream for customer story lead gathering: from building comprehensive customer lists to executing targeted outreach and mapping to business priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Security Product Marketing Manager, Marketing, Customer Account teams and Customer Advocacy teams to align recruitment efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Identify, validate, and prioritize customer accounts using product usage data, dashboards, and other lead sources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with account teams; conduct outreach to assess customer readiness and viability.
  • Provide regular status updates, reporting, and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Analyze recruitment outcomes and recommend/implement strategic changes to improve conversion rates.
  • Spread awareness by presenting the evidence program and support broader Engines & Experiences initiatives as needed.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency—move swiftly, flag issues, hold stakeholders accountable, and proactively surface risks or blockers.

͏

We would like you to have...

  • 6+ years’ experience in recruitment, sales, or customer engagement roles—ideally within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven experience in the Security space or supporting Security-focused initiatives.
  • MCAPS or previous account team/seller experience (inside sales a plus).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting program decks and updates.
  • Ability to multitask, work with ambiguity, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (M365, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Highly proactive, accountable, and able to operate independently with minimal direction.
  • Analytical mindset—comfortable with data, reporting, and synthesizing insights into action.
  • Experience working with or within Microsoft is a plus.

Additional Details...

  • This is a remote US-based position
  • Core hours should allow for collaboration with both East and West Coast teams.
  • Initial focus is on Security recruitment for H2, with potential for the role to evolve into broader Customer Advocacy support.
