Social Listening Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Social Listening Senior Analyst to join the Designit team supporting Microsoft Cloud Marketing Blog and Social. This world-class social media organization manages more than 100 social channels and 20+ marketing blogs, reaching audiences that include developers, IT decision-makers, IT professionals, game creators, small and medium businesses, and senior business leaders. Each month, our team publishes more than 2,600 social posts to educate, inform, and engage communities worldwide. With a portfolio spanning Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams, Power BI, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and more than 170 innovative products and services, the Cloud Marketing Blog and Social ecosystem represents one of the most impactful communication engines at Microsoft.

As a Social Listening Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive social listening strategy for our Community Management workstream. Your insights will directly inform marketing strategies, campaign optimizations, and high-level business decisions, ensuring Microsoft Cloud continues to deliver meaningful, customer-first experiences.

What You’ll Do

Strategy

  • Build and implement a social listening strategy aligned with Microsoft Cloud’s marketing and business priorities.

  • Define KPIs, benchmarks, and success metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure social listening insights are embedded into overall business strategy.

Social Media Monitoring & Analysis

  • Leverage Sprinklr Modern Marketing, Research, and Engagement modules to track and analyze conversations across platforms.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis into sentiment, trends, share of voice, and emerging topics related to Microsoft Cloud products, industry shifts, and competitors.

  • Deliver recurring reports and executive-ready summaries highlighting actionable insights and clear recommendations.

Consumer Insights & Competitive Intelligence

  • Transform listening data into actionable insights that shape marketing campaigns, product roadmaps, and customer experiences.

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to measure Microsoft Cloud’s performance versus industry peers.

  • Identify emerging trends, evolving customer behaviors, and shifts in the digital landscape to inform proactive strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted partner to internal teams, ensuring social listening needs are understood and addressed.

  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives and clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Build credibility with decision-makers, guiding them on how to integrate insights into key business initiatives.

Industry Expertise & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on the latest advancements in social listening tools, methodologies, and industry standards.

  • Continuously improve reporting practices, dashboards, and analytical approaches.

  • Provide thought leadership on social intelligence, helping the team remain innovative and competitive

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in social media analytics, market research, or related fields, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.

  • Hands-on expertise with Sprinklr social listening tools and other analytics platforms.

  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills—ability to distill complex data into clear insights and strategies.

  • Proven experience guiding teams or projects, with a track record of fostering collaboration and driving measurable impact.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Deep knowledge of major social platforms (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)—algorithms, trends, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Mandatory Skills: Social Media .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
