Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to design the organisation’s computer and network security infrastructure and protect its systems and sensitive information from cyber threats

We are looking for SOC Manage should be highly skilled and experienced SOC Manager to lead Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Splunk SIEM, Splunk SOAR, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SOC team, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and response capabilities.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Splunk SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Develop and maintain playbooks and automation workflows using Splunk SOAR.
- Analyze security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts.
- Continuously improve detection rules, dashboards, and reports in Splunk.
- Mentor and train SOC analysts, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Prepare and present regular reports on SOC performance, threat landscape, and incident metrics.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a SOC leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Splunk SIEM and Splunk SOAR.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with threat hunting, incident response, and forensic analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
