Job Description

As a Senior hands-on Developer of Software Development Engineering, you will enable WME to achieve consistent, predictable, high-quality delivery by implementing best practices, tools, metrics, automation frameworks, and provide oversight in the areas of software development and testing. You’ll serve as a strong and versatile hands-on technical developer. You will deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment.
Follow the technical lead, implement stories and collaborate with partners to deliver common framework or libraries for data quality, data observability, data transformation that can be used across different applications in Wealth Management Engineering by designing, developing, testing, and support. Implement and recommend software development best practices as a go-to development partner for the scrum team members. Build the services and features required for each assigned Java development story including the skills and tools below.
•    A university bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or closely related field with equivalent software development exposure.
•    hands-on software development roles with focus on software development and data products.
•    Hands-on experience coding in and accurately documenting core Java (10+), Spring (5+), Spring Batch (3+), REST based APIs, messaging and streaming technologies with tools such as Bamboo, Github, maven/gradle and Jira.
•    Experience in implementing software development engineering best practices as well as DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and Kanban.
•    Continuous updates to knowledge repositories, ensure information regarding any support related activities or issues are available and easily accessible.
•    Experience writing unit, integration, acceptance, automation tests and other testing activities including those for data interfaces & data pipelines.
•    Exceptional interpersonal skills, including team interaction and communication skills.
•    Master’s degree in the field of Computer Science.
•    Experience with proactive detection, troubleshooting, and remediation of issues affecting production applications.
•    Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage.
•    Experience in building nonfunctional frameworks or libraries.
•    Wealth Management and/or Financial Services industry experience.
•    Ability to quickly learn & become proficient with new technologies
Mandatory Skills: Fullstack Java Enterprise .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
