Job Description: 

Join Wipro Technologies-Poland as a Senior SDET+Python Engineer within our Technology Services division, specializing in Digital Transformation Services. In this hybrid role, you will be a key contributor to our end-to-end digital transformation initiatives, driving quality and automation excellence.

As part of our dynamic team in the Industry Cloud & Digital sector, you will leverage your advanced Python programming and test automation skills to build robust, scalable test frameworks, enhancing product reliability and performance. Your expertise will influence the success of cutting-edge projects aimed at transforming business processes for global clients.

This position requires a proactive, meticulous approach to creating detailed test cases and plans derived from JIRA stories. You will engage extensively with REST API and Selenium UI testing, applying your knowledge of relational databases to validate data integrity and workflows. Your role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, aligning with scrum rituals and supporting late-shift activities to synchronize with EST time zones.

Candidate Profile and Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in test automation, preferably within agile teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming, with hands-on experience using the Pytest framework or equivalent Python test frameworks.
  • Experienced in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test cases and detailed test plans based on user stories from JIRA.
  • Familiarity with SQL and MySQL databases, capable of writing complex queries to verify backend processes and data consistency.
  • Proven expertise in REST API testing and hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation testing.
  • Knowledge of the Robot Framework is highly advantageous and will be considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work during late shifts to effectively participate in scrum meetings and team collaborations aligned with EST time zones.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a detail-oriented mindset and strong ownership of quality assurance deliverables.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and work collaboratively with global, multidisciplinary teams.
