Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage clientâÂÂs software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLAâÂÂs ensuring client satisfaction

Key Responsibilities
ATF & Functional Testing
- Design, develop, and execute ATF test cases under guidance of the ATF Lead.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for ServiceNow applications.
- Convert manual test cases into ATF-based automated scripts.
- Execute ATF test suites and analyze test results and failures.
- Validate fixes and perform re-testing for resolved defects.
ServiceNow Module Testing
- Conduct testing across various ServiceNow modules, such as:
- ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Request)
- Service Catalog
- CMDB (basic validation)
- Workflows / Flow Designer
- Service Portal (basic UI validation)
- Ensure test coverage for configurations, UI policies, business rules, and flows.
Defect Management & Reporting
- Log, track, and manage defects using defined defect management processes.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and coordinate with developers.
- Prepare daily/weekly test execution status and defect reports.
Collaboration & Process Adherence
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and test leads during sprint cycles.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies such as planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Follow defined testing standards, processes, and documentation guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience creating and executing ATF test cases.
- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals and module functionality.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Agile testing practices.
Experience
- 3–5 years of overall testing experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in ServiceNow testing.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
- Exposure to ServiceNow upgrades and regression testing is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – preferred
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent – nice to have

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new modules and features.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
