Wipro Technologies invites applications for the position of Senior Tosca Tester within our Technology Services division, specifically aligned with the TS - Industry Cloud & Digital sector. The successful candidate will hold the role of Test Engineer L3 and join a dynamic team focused on delivering cutting-edge quality engineering and testing solutions.

This role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in Tosca automation testing, specializing in framework development and maintenance at an enterprise level. Our ideal candidate is adept at designing, managing, and executing comprehensive test cases across web, desktop, API, and DEX environments, ensuring robust quality assurance processes are met.

The position requires deep expertise in Tosca Test Suite, encompassing advanced navigation and steering capabilities, alongside proven certification credentials such as AS1, AS2, AE1, AE2, TDS1, TDS2, and related specialist qualifications including qTest Product Consultant and Test Architect Level 1. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in integrating Tosca with tools such as JIRA and qTest, facilitating seamless automation workflows and collaboration within agile teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and scaling automation frameworks from inception, ensuring integration with continuous integration and DevOps tools for streamlined delivery pipelines.
  • Leading the design and execution of test automation strategies focusing on UI, API, and database layers, including expertise with databases like Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL.
  • Providing oversight and coordination of business user acceptance testing, emphasizing quality and operational excellence.
  • Planning, estimating, and managing Tosca automation delivery, including monitoring defect life cycles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engaging directly with customers to drive project delivery, tailor automation solutions, and address specific extension or integration needs within Tosca.
  • Championing best practices in automation scripting, tool utilization, and process optimization to enhance team efficiency and testing effectiveness.
  • Organizing and leading promotional events and internal campaigns to foster automation awareness and adoption.

This role also entails responsibility for tracking and reporting on automation project progress, supervising implementation success metrics, and contributing to the strategic roadmap for testing excellence. Candidates will benefit from excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
