Cloud Solution Architect (PreSales)

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will collaborate with globally distributed engineering, operations, sales, and support teams to help customers modernize their cloud operations and adopt next-generation AIOps capabilities. The primary purpose of this role is threefold: to lead Solution Architecture activities for AIOps initiatives, to support the sales organization through customer-facing presales engagement, and to occasionally serve as a Technical Project Manager leading project teams through successful delivery.

What You Will Do

• Lead customer-facing presales activities for cloud, observability, and AIOps opportunities across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Understand customer pain points and translate business and operational requirements into scalable solution architectures and transformation roadmaps.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, architecture workshops, solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and executive-level briefings.
• Coordinate and manage PoC activities, ensuring successful validation of proposed architectures and technologies.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between customer stakeholders, sales teams, delivery organizations, and global engineering teams.
• AIOps Solution Leadership: Develop solution strategies around incident management, monitoring, change management, DR/Chaos, SecOps, and FinOps using Real-time AIOps concepts.
• Advanced AI Orchestration: Define Agent-to-Agent (A2A) orchestration architectures using AWS Bedrock AgentCore to automate and streamline complex cross-functional workflows.
• Program & Stakeholder Management: Drive project planning, cross-functional alignment, risk management, milestone tracking, and communication throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Global DevOps Enablement: Coordinate with global teams to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions across multi-region cloud infrastructures.
• Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with global peers to deliver best-in-quality services and maintain the stability of mission-critical systems.

Long Description

What You Need to Be Successful

● Strong experience in customer-facing solution architecture, presales, technical consulting, or technical project management roles

● Experience leading technical workshops, PoCs, solution presentations, and architecture discussions with customers and executive stakeholders

● Experience developing solution proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), RFP/RFI responses, and technical documentation

● Experience designing, deploying, and operating applications in AWS environments

● Strong understanding of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices on EKS (Github, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitOps, Helm)

● Good exposure to logging and monitoring tools (DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) and the ability to position their value to customers

● Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, multi-cluster, and multi-account architecture

● Experience defining and presenting AIOps, observability, and infrastructure modernization strategies

● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences

● Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional teams in global environments

● Experience troubleshooting and guiding resolution for complex production issues and translating them into long-term architecture improvements

What Makes You Eligible

● A Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field or equivalent experience in Cloud Technologies

● Overall, more than 7 to 12 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solution Consulting, Presales, or Technical Project Management

● Minimum 3 years of experience using AWS is mandatory, and experience with at least one other public cloud environment such as Azure or GCP is required

● Proven experience leading customer-facing cloud transformation, observability, or AIOps initiatives

● Experience configuring infrastructure and operating customer services using AWS

● Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes

● Hands-on understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, with the ability to position and guide their use in customer environments

● Experience coordinating global or multi-vendor project teams across delivery, engineering, and business stakeholders

● Ability to manage both technical depth and project-level ownership, including schedule, risk, issue, and stakeholder management

● Cloud-native mindset including self-healing, automation, observability, resiliency, and AI-driven operations

● Understanding of SRE principles and culture

● Experience in infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or observability transformation programs

● Experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM platforms, or On-premise GPU infrastructure

● Experience leading large-scale AIOps or observability initiatives

● Proficient ability to use one or more programming languages such as Golang, Python, Java, etc.

● Ability to proactively identify customer challenges and create practical, business-oriented solutions

● PMP, AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes, or similar technical/project management certifications

● Demonstrated drive for continual learning and technology leadership
