͏Azure Cloud DevOps/SRE Engineer

Position: Azure Cloud DevOps/SRE Engineer

 

About the Role

 Our Azure DevOps/SRE engineers bring deep cloud engineering expertise and hands-on operational experience to enterprise-grade infrastructure. You will be responsible for the reliability and deployment automation of Azure-based financial infrastructure — particularly for customer-facing applications in the banking deposit (수신) domain. Working alongside globally distributed engineering and operations peers, you will help build a world-class operating model using Azure DevOps as the governance and delivery backbone. Working location: Yatap Office and/or client site depending on project requirements.  

 

What You Will Do

  • Provide operational support for Azure-based infrastructure including Azure App Service, Container Apps, and AKS workloads, with a focus on stability and incident response
  • Operate and improve the full Azure DevOps toolchain: Boards for wave-based migration tracking, Repos for application and IaC source control, Pipelines for YAML multi-stage CI/CD, and Environments for approval gates and deployment governance
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, security scanning, packaging, deployment, and verification stages to establish a repeatable release path
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Bicep or Terraform, provisioning landing zones and application infrastructure through automated pipelines
  • Implement and operate guardrails that meet financial industry regulatory requirements including network segmentation, access control, audit logging, and system policy enforcement
  • Standardize observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights; build SLO and error-budget dashboards; lead incident response and post-mortem processes
  • Establish deployment safety patterns such as Blue-Green, Canary, and Ring-based deployments with defined rollback criteria and pipeline health checks
  • Develop automation scripts and services to eliminate operational toil, optimize security posture, and reduce infrastructure costs

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Hands-on experience operating Azure App Service, Container Apps, and AKS workloads
  • Proficiency in Azure networking design including Hub-Spoke topology, NSG, and Private Endpoints
  • Experience configuring Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, and Managed Identities
  • Solid understanding of Linux OS and network infrastructure fundamentals
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Environments)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform or Bicep
  • Kubernetes container orchestration experience including AKS
  • Scripting and automation development skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of financial industry regulatory requirements and compliance controls

Long Description

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Experience operating infrastructure for customer-facing banking deposit applications (savings accounts, time deposits, RPs, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience implementing compliance guardrails aligned with Korean financial regulations (Electronic Financial Supervisory Regulations, ISMS-P, network separation policies, etc.)
  • YAML multi-stage pipeline and GitOps pattern experience (ArgoCD, Helm, Flux)
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
  • Experience designing and operating multi-cluster and multi-subscription (multi-account) Azure architectures
  • Production environment troubleshooting experience and post-mortem documentation
  • Participation in Azure Well-Architected Framework reviews
  • Problem-solving experience with Java or Spring Framework-based applications

What Makes You Eligible

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in cloud technologies
  • Minimum 3 years of Azure infrastructure operations experience (required)
  • Practical experience with at least one additional public cloud platform (AWS or GCP) is a plus
  • Experience in financial sector IT projects, particularly at commercial or internet banks in the deposit domain, is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams and client stakeholders
Mandatory Skills: AWS Devops .
