About the Role

This position is responsible for the Managed Security ITO which is related to Server/Cloud Technologies. You are required to work at the office in Suwon Samsung Electronics.

  • Server/infrastructure security check(보안성검토)

  • Security Operations (SecOps) execution

  • Working location is at Suwon Samsung Electronics (Near Mangpo Station, 수원 망포역 근처)

What You Will Do

  • Identify the hardening standards and best practices for secure configuration review (CIS/NIST)

  • Collaborating with Operations Team and plan and create Security validation checklists

  • Conducting a secure configuration review of Infrastructure - e.g.: Servers, network devices, perimeter security devices (firewall, IPS, IDS) etc

  • Conduct discussions with IT Teams(Architects, Operation and Compliance Team)

  • Evaluate the gaps against baseline checklist

  • Maintain proficiency in Server security (Windows, Linux)-based security knowledge

  • Analyze the review reports and suggest remediation / mitigation plan

  • Keep track of configuration changes

  • Provide guidance to Infrastructure operations team to perform Infrastructure hardening.

  • Assist in changing/updating the Security policies

What You Need to Be Successful

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Cloud Technologies and server management.

  • Overall, more than 8 to 10 years of experience in Cloud Technologies, technical support or system administration, supporting internal or external clients within enterprise corporate environments

  • A basic understanding of data center servers, storage and networking technologies, monolithic/microservice architecture, and software development life cycle is a plus

 

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Knowledge and experience with SOC/NOC, data center, network infrastructure and security devices (firewall, IPS, IDS)

  • Experience with security solutions (Crowdstrike, Darktrace, Stealthwatch, Skyhigh, Rapid7, Digital shadows, Securityscorecard etc.)

  • Good exposer in logging and monitoring tools

 

What Makes You Eligible

  • Fluent in Korean both written and spoken.

  • Conduct system level vulnerability security scan, harden system and application platform.

  • Liaise with 3rd party software and hardware vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues.

  • Liaise with 3rd party hosting providers to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
